This space has been on my heart for a long time.
For years, I felt like my story didn’t quite fit anywhere. I was either too much or not enough — too focused on my body, or not focused enough on “doing better.” Somewhere along the way, I realized how often we tie our worth to our appearance, our weight, or a version of ourselves we think we’re supposed to become.
Moore Than a Body exists because I needed a place to tell the truth — not just about physical change, but about the mental and emotional shifts that happen underneath it all.
My journey includes gastric sleeve surgery, but this blog is not about chasing a smaller body. It’s about identity, healing, confidence, and learning to see myself as whole even while I’m still growing. The physical changes were visible. The internal ones were quieter — and far more impactful.
Here, I’ll share the parts of the journey that don’t show up in before-and-after photos. The doubts, the strength, the grief, the pride, and the moments of becoming rooted in who I am while still rising into who I’m meant to be.
If you’re here because you’ve ever felt defined by your body, your past, or a version of yourself you’re trying to outgrow — you’re not alone. This space is for honesty, growth, and gentle forward movement.
I’m glad you’re here.
